EchoPlanner · Effective 6 August 2026
In short. EchoPlanner stores your to-do data only in your own Google Drive. We do not run a server for it, and we neither keep nor read your data.
| Category | What | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Google account | Account identifier, email address | Sign-in; creating and reading data files in your Drive |
| Content you enter | To-dos, topics, notes, schedules, completion records | Providing the service (planning and tracking) |
| Voice | What you speak into the microphone | Converting it to to-do text. See section 4 below |
| App settings | Theme, widget display settings | Display. Stored only on your device |
| Subscription status | Account identifier, trial start date, purchase receipt number and expiry date | Confirming the free-trial period and whether you are subscribed |
| Notification registration token | Per-device push registration token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) | Notifying this device of changes made on another device. Stored encrypted in your Drive; it does not remain on our servers |
We do not collect your name, phone number, address, contacts, location, or advertising identifier. We also do not receive your payment details such as card numbers — payment is handled by Google Play, and we receive only the receipt number needed to confirm your subscription.
We use no analytics tools or advertising SDKs that track your behavior.
Drive access is limited to the drive.file scope. This grants access only to files this app itself created; it cannot see other files in your Drive.
We do not sell or disclose your information to third parties. However, the service connects to the providers below in order to work.
| Provider | Role | What is passed |
|---|---|---|
| Sign-in, Drive storage, speech recognition, device notification delivery (Firebase Cloud Messaging) | Account authentication data, Drive file contents, voice (section 4), notification registration token | |
| Cloudflare | Serving the web pages (hosting), storing subscription status (as a processor) | Connection data needed to reach the site, account identifier and subscription status |
| Google Fonts | Serving fonts | Connection data needed to request fonts |
Each provider's handling is governed by that provider's own policy.
When you add a to-do by speaking, the app uses the microphone. The voice is passed to the Android system's speech recognition and converted to text, and that processing is governed by the policy of the speech recognition service installed on your device (usually Google).
EchoPlanner does not save the voice recording and does not send it to us. Only the converted text is saved as a to-do.
If you deny the microphone permission, every feature other than voice input works normally.
The data you create stays in your Drive and on your device until you delete it. Because we keep no copy, you can delete it yourself.
We retain the subscription-status records for as long as their purpose lasts. The trial start date is a record that prevents a trial from being issued again to the same account, so we keep one per account on an ongoing basis; the receipt number and expiry date are kept to confirm subscription and refund status. If you want them deleted, contact us at the address below and we will remove them.
echoplanner-data.json file in Google Drive.| Permission | Use |
|---|---|
| Internet | Drive sync, loading pages |
| Microphone | Adding a to-do by voice (section 4) |
| Notifications | Timer and schedule alerts |
| Exact alarms | Ringing the timer at the set time |
| Vibration | Feedback on completion and timer end |
| Receive boot completed | Restoring scheduled widget refreshes after a reboot |
EchoPlanner is not directed at children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect children's personal information.
If this policy changes, we will post the revision and its effective date on this page. We will also notify you in the app of significant changes.
